Apple Display Technology Leaves Investors with Sour Taste (Reuters)
Apple Inc.(AAPL) investors had been anxiously awaiting the rollout of the next generation iPad Mini with “retina” display. This latest high resolution, image technology was supposed to put the Cupertino, Calif.-based company back on par with Google and Amazon tablets, and hopefully sweeten the company’s incredibly sour share price. Well, those investors need to be patient, as Apple’s supply chain is only now gearing up to produce the next gen screens. Worst of all, retina technology isn’t expected to be available during the critical holiday shopping season. Apple investors better start thinking about New Year’s resolutions.
