Ford Extends 25 Percent Dividend Increase Again (DividendChannel)
Ford (F) is about the only major automaker in the world not mounting a recall effort involving millions of cars, and its investors are noticing, just as they have during the last year, as shares appreciated more than 15 percent, and during the last two years, when shares gained more than 31 percent. And they’re being further rewarded for their loyalty by the company’s continuation of its 25 percent dividend increase over 2013. That dividend will be payable on June 2, 2014 for shareholders of record as of May 2, 2014. So you have about two weeks to scoop up shares of Ford to collect your 3 percent yield. Granted, there are other, fatter yields out there, but how many of them come from one of the world’s true industry titans on a comeback streak? Not many.
