Alexion Pharmaceuticals (ALXN) has been a big winner for your Bull Market Alert portfolio this year and the stock is up 33.02% since I first recommended it.
You’ve already booked two sets of gains in Alexion options, including a triple-digit percentage gainer, earlier this year. So, this trade actually is your second round of options gains in Alexion. I recommended a second set of options in Alexion on Feb. 20.
On March 2, Goldman Sachs reiterated Alexion as a “Conviction Buy,” based on the company’s high-growth potential, attractive drug portfolio and status as a potential M&A buyout candidate. On Feb. 23, UBS upgraded Alexion to a Buy from Neutral and raised its price target to $99.
With the May $85 call options up 100%, I’m recommending that you sell half of your options to lock in your gains here.
Hold on to the stock and the rest of your options for potentially even bigger gains ahead.
