Warren Buffett Likes Exxon Mobile (Forbes)

Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway filed SEC documents revealing a 1% stake in Exxon Mobil (XOM), as of Sept. 30. Shares of Exxon Mobil rose as the news of Berkshire Hathaway’s 13F filing trickled out. Other 13F forms filed on Thursday revealed that Carl Icahn has a $1.8 billion stake in Apple and that activist investor Dan Loeb (Third Point), has a $300 million share in Sotheby’s auction house. Apple’s stock was unaffected, while Sotheby’s dropped 3.3%.
